my beloved friends,
your outpour of emails & concerns have really touched me and i sincerely appreciate your concerns. -and i’m sorry if i’ve worried any of you by not responding soon enough to your emails. for those whom i have not contacted, hopefully u’ll see this post. my friends (teresa, parin, cherie & kevin) & myself are all ok. we were in pattaya at the time of the earthquake and tsunamis, so we were safe from harm. however, i wish i could say the same for the rest of the tourists & locals
the current death toll in asia is about 77,000 people…
i guess u can say it was fate that our tour down south didn’t fall on the date when the tsunami hit cuz we were actually planning to go down on the 30th, but now we’re just going to stay around bangkok mostly for the remainder of our stay. it doesn’t feel right being on vacation when there is a crisis like this affecting so many countries.
please pray for the safety of the survivors, and all those brave rescuers out there…

its really really really good to hear that you are alright. . .i just heard from drew that no one had heard from you since the tsunamis and we were all worried. i know your vacation got kinda jacked but be thankful that you avoided that tragic disaster. take care, have a happy new year!

OMG thank GOD ur okay!!! I was so worried when u didn’t respond to my text!!! but i understand ur a busy gal. so so so happy that you’re safe and sound! You gotta come visit sometime!!! We’re gonna have a housewarming party but its mostly for coworkers, but if ur down to meet some NOVA ppls come come come! it’s jan 22nd 8pm in shinjuku gyoenmae ^_~ ::hugs::

bagh… I initially posted two comments one thanking you for all the stuff you sent and telling you how much I missed you and wished you were there for Christmas and how things are soooooo f***ed up right now and I wish you were here to talk to and how I ran away this weekend (granted it was only to Sal’s house, but you know…) and, I don’t know (but I guess only one of the comments got posted), Just wanted to let you know I love you and everyone misses you, but we hope you’re having fun and we’re glad you’re okay!
