Q: Why haven’t I been getting my subscriptions!!????
sorry i haven’t really been posting stuff lately. i’ve just been so busy with work and too lazy after work to post anything. anyways, here are some pictures (not taken by me) from last month’s trip to the guma prefecture.

Sunday, June 26: Canyoning
Canyoning: i suppose you could define this recreational activity as getting geared up in a wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet & boots, then floating down a river. oh yeah, and then there’s the part where you get dropped down an eighteen meter waterfall. good stuff… I *highly* recommend this….

it’s not fun when your boat flips over and you pop up out of the water only to find darkness and nothingness cause the boat is flipped over you…. i thought i died and gone to hell.

oh, its not just missouri goo goo, “goh-dewn” and jonathan here — LA ah-beh, esther, and darlene came up too. its so strange because anna just left for mexico, sal’s still in davis, and you’re in japan, and i don’t think esther and darlene knew about any of that before they came up, haha.
right now they’re on their way back from your house, after going to skylawn to pay respect and then stanford to see irene. i’m guessing they had dinner with your dad and jay, but i couldn’t go cause i had to go to my kung fu place’s annual exhibition, so i left after skylawn, with anna’s mom and jason..they had their own events to go to too.
anyhow, jonathan’s grown considerably since the last time i saw him..he’s about 5’5″, and not chubby. its like he stretched out =P. one thing, though, is that he still acts basically the same =].
last thing, i saw ahma’s pictures (2) of you in japan, one with the pudding and another just by yourself =]. looks like tons of fun!
i gotta shower now so i don’t add to the mad rush for it later when everyone gets home, ttyl!
HiiI! I have sunday/monday off and I’d love to go visit you! But i have private students on sunday afternoon =/ so if i could get back to tokyo by 12 on sunday….maybe i can go? hehe it’s totally possible if I don’t drink (and after yesterday…..that’s very likely to happen…not drinking that is) anyway, come visit sometime! We can go eat indian food hehehe

yeah, i know what you mean about posting… i’ve been pretty lousy with keeping up.
omg i went rafting too! (minus the wetsuits, helmets, and isntructors). Gave us life jackets and threw us into the river with a cooler full o’beer!
