these past 7 days have been pretty random...
(one for each day, in no particular order) 1. i was home to receive a wedding invitation for the first time. (the last few were sent to my house while i was away in japan).congratulations, noemi!!  2. my parents left on a trip to taiwan, leaving me home alone for the first time.... (IN LIFE!)  3. i got my nose pierced 4. i went to my old elementary school to help an even older friend, the school's newest 5th grade teacher, grade papers... the last time i was there, i was in 3rd grade! 5. i learned that the younger daughter of my abacus teacher, a lady whom i spent 2.5 hrs with each week, for 9 years of my life, died in a car accident last christmas. i can't even imagine what it must be like to be going thru that kind of pain... should i call her? 6. i found out that a dear friend of mine was diagnosed with type II diabetes after having undergone surgery for pancreatitis. 7. someone i once knew well (and didn't get along with really..) was charged with vehicle manslaughter on nov 2. i'm still in shock...this is heavy sh*t.... i wish i could just wave a wand and fix all the things gone wrong...
